I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
